The single’s cover art says it all: Paco and Big Cimi as Egyptian pharaohs, ruling over the kingdom of the course—part myth, part muscle, all swagger. This isn't just music. It’s a prophecy.

“Stop hating 'cause I'm dancing on this putting green, man…”

Paco Morell and Big Cimi Drop Hard-Hitting Golf Rap Anthem “18 Holes” from Upcoming "Country Club Gang" Album

April 8, 2025 – The Golf Rap scene is about to feel the full force of street energy with the latest single, "18 Holes," by Paco Morell, featuring Big Cimi (Kyle Cimmino). The track is a powerful statement and the standout single from their highly anticipated album, Country Club Gang.

“18 Holes” isn’t just another golf-themed rap song – it’s a raw, unapologetic anthem that resonates with the grit of the streets and the elegance of golf. Written by Paco Morell and featuring Big Cimi, the song’s catchy lyrics, hard-hitting beat, and emotional weight make it a standout in the Golf Rap genre.

"18 Holes" marks a defining moment in the Country Club Gang album, which blends golf culture with rap in an unprecedented way. The track serves as a statement, and it hits different. The hard hitting sound was produced by M16Beats (Joshua Banks), a platinum, Grammy-nominated producer known for his work with rap heavyweights like 2 Chainz, Young Jeezy, Andre 3000, Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, and many more. Paco Morell and M16 share a history dating back to the early 2000s when they both worked out of the same studio just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. M16 brings his signature gangster, hardcore vibe to “18 Holes”, perfectly complementing the authentic style of Paco Morell and has set the tone for the album as a whole.

A Personal and Powerful Track

For Paco Morell, "18 Holes" is more than just a song. The recording of the hook in late February 2024 coincided with a tragic moment in his life, as he received the news that his beloved sister, Martina Morell, had been admitted to the hospital for a brain aneurysm. Days later, Martina, a renowned horse trainer who had produced multiple NRHA World Champions, Congress champions, and other respected achievements in the equestrian world, passed away on March 6, 2024.

Her passing was not only a devastating loss for Paco, but for the entire horse community. "18 Holes" became a turning point in the album, as Paco channeled his grief, love for his sister, and the strength to move forward into the track. The song carries a deeper meaning that resonates with anyone who's faced loss and found a way to keep pushing forward.

Big Cimi’s smooth lyrical swagger contrasts perfectly with Paco Morell’s high-energy performance. Together, the duo brings “18 Holes” to life with lyrics that hit hard while delivering the infectious vibe that golf fans and rap enthusiasts alike will be vibing to.

Catchy Lyrics That Hit Hard

“18 Holes” is filled with energy and vivid imagery that speaks to both the lifestyle and the game of golf. With references to Louis Vuitton golf bags, carbon fiber drivers, and luxury cars, the track seamlessly blends high-end lifestyle with the raw energy of street rap.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the song’s catchy lines:

Intro:
  • “Don’t give a fuck around here, country club 18 holes”

Chorus:
  • “18 holes, two bad birdies, motherf**, stuntin’ / Making putt, making par, making eagle, slide”*

Verse:
  • “Louis golf bag when I pop the trunk / Grab the clubs and I walk / And I walk and put the ground / They pick it up, put it on the cart / I sit on the cart and I’m like ‘Is where they at?’”

With references to golden sunsets, palm trees, and rolling greens, the song paints a picture of luxury golf culture while staying true to its roots in hip-hop. 01. BIRDIE MAN

"Birdie Man" isn't your typical golf tune. With hard-hitting lyrics and an infectious beat, this track redefines what it means to play the game with flair and finesse. From the opening hook by Paco Morell — "Hit it high, it's going low, it's on the green, one to go, birdie man, it's a birdie man, gotta birdie man, it's a birdie man, yea yea" — listeners are taken on a rhythmic journey through the highs and lows of the golf course, where skill, style, and swagger meet.

Paco Morell sets the tone with his verse, mixing his love for the game with his passion for rap:
"On the golf course, you can find me, smoking green, looking fresh as f***, nobody behind me...I grab the club, I size it up, I line it up, I grip the club, I swing the club, I hit the ball, it's in the air, left to right, you see it right, yeah that's me on the green putting for 3." Paco's lyrics blend the precision of golf with the rhythm of rap, creating a unique vibe that's both fun and fierce.

Big Cimi (Kyle Cimmino) brings his own unique style and expertise to the track. A seasoned golfer and rap enthusiast, Big Cimi combines his deep knowledge of the sport with his lyrical prowess. His verse is a confident showcase of his skills:
"From the tips, move my hips, I tee it high and let it rip...I got a bag with 14 weapons, I hit it pure, watch it soar, it's rolling true on that green velour." Big Cimi’s laid-back flow and clever wordplay illustrate his command over the game, making him a force to be reckoned with both on the mic and on the links. Outside of rap, Kyle Cimmino is known for his strategic approach to the game, often likened to a true student of golf.

Triggs (Kyle Cady) adds his own flavor to the track, rapping from the perspective of a caddie with streetwise swagger:
"I don't play this fly ass game I just make sure you da boss on the course...Carrying weight like Rick Ross, flippin' birds like birdman, handin' clubs like a big boss." Triggs brings an edgy, no-nonsense attitude that complements the track’s dynamic energy, adding depth to this unique hip-hop golf anthem. As a drummer for the rock band Saddle Tramp, Kyle Cady brings a rhythmic intensity to his verse, blending his musical talents with his passion for storytelling. Triggs’s experience as a caddie and his background in rock music create a compelling juxtaposition that resonates throughout the track.

The beat, crafted by Grammy winning producer Tone Jones, marries the pulse of hip-hop with the feel of a championship course. His production delivers a backdrop that's as fresh and unpredictable as a day on the links.

Born in Canada and raised in New York, Paco Morell has lived in Ocala, Florida, for more than half his life. His lifelong love of golf and hip-hop is deeply influenced by his musical upbringing. His father, Marty Morell, is a renowned jazz drummer who played with legends like Robert Goulet, Bill Evans, and the Duke Ellington Band, and also served as a jazz professor at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Paco’s journey from DJing and producing hip-hop beats in his teens to becoming a Communications Director and avid golfer is reflected in his music, with "Birdie Man" capturing his diverse talents and passions.

"Birdie Man" is the first single from Morell's upcoming 18-track album dedicated to the love of the game and the spirit of hip-hop. It's more than just music; it's a movement that bridges communities, challenges norms, and celebrates the crossover of cultures.
